Short description of the workpackages:
WP1 "Preparation," lays the groundwork for project success. It involves tasks such as establishing a partnership agreement, conducting an exploratory visit, selecting topics for the manual, and creating a project website as well as drafting project management and implementation handbook;
WP2 "Manual on university-community engagement" focuses on creating a manual specifically tailored at universities based on needs identified in the early stages of proposal drafting process. The manual will be available in English and Georgian, ensuring accessibility and relevance to the local community.
WP3 "Capacity building," is aligned with establishing community engagement units in partner country universities. It involves activities such as setting up these units, acquiring necessary equipment, training academic and administrative staff, as well as students for current and future community engagement activities, conducting site visits, and finally, training the trainers to ensure sustainability and knowledge dissemination beyond the project's lifetime.
WP4 "Management and Quality," is integral to the project's success, focusing on smooth coordination and high-quality outcomes. It involves continuous project management and coordination to ensure efficiency, along with internal quality evaluations to assess and enhance the standard of project results and outcomes throughout its implementation.
WP5 "Implementation, Dissemination, and Exploitation," focuses on integrating project results into partner country universities. This involves regular website updates, organizing dissemination events, garnering media coverage, piloting activities for established units, and having trainers extend their knowledge to other staff including administration and students, thus ensuring the widespread impact of the project.
