Conflict Management and Mediation in the School Environment

Workshop Objectives

The main objective of the workshop is to strengthen participants’ professional competencies in conflict management and mediation within the school environment. During the session, participants will explore practical approaches to conflict prevention, constructive resolution, and the creation of a positive learning environment.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • The nature of conflict and its types in the school environment
  • Causes of conflict (student–student, student–teacher, and school–parent)
  • Conflict management strategies
  • The importance and principles of mediation
  • Stages of the mediation process
  • Effective communication techniques (active listening, empathy, and assertiveness)
  • Practical case studies and role-playing exercises
